Bolted Type

The Bolted Type Prismatic Cell Busbar is a precise electrical conductor that enables reliable mechanical and electrical connections among several prismatic lithium-ion cells with bolted joint arrangements. In contrast to weld connections, bolted busbars provide detachable joints, which make them much easier to maintain, inspect, and replace cells. The busbars are made from high-conductivity copper or aluminum and are capable of carrying large amounts of charging and discharging current with minimal resistance, little heat generation, and consistent electrical performance for EVs, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and other high-current applications.

Bolted-type prismatic cell busbars are manufactured to ensure that the terminals are aligned with great precision and will provide secure contact after installation. Due to their solid construction, they exhibit a high degree of mechanical stability. The installation of optional insulating, laminated, epoxy-coated, or plated finishes will enhance electrical safety, durability, and corrosion resistance. Because of their small size, they allow for a good connection between the Battery Management System (BMS) and the creation of compact battery assemblies.
