Quality and Testing

At Adinath Enterprises, we carry out testing through each phase of manufacturing process rather than just upon completion of manufacturing. As we evaluate each busbar’s physical and electrical properties, we ensure that these products will function with utmost reliability by utilizing systematic evaluation techniques throughout the entire manufacturing process, beginning with raw material verification of incoming goods through dimensional inspection of the finished busbar and all interim stages of manufacturing and finally conducting electrical and mechanical performance testing on all finished busbars.

Our quality control system is designed primarily for those industries where one must have confidence in the electrical reliability, electrical conductivity, stability and safely operate the product while in service. Each busbar produced by us undergoes inspection for conductivity, dimensional accuracy, quality of plating, quality of surface finish, and strength (mechanical) before being shipped to the customer. Any deviation in thickness, hole alignment, or current-carrying efficiency will impact the overall electrical efficiency thus, our quality/testing process focuses on precision, durability, safety, and quality of product.

With our extensive knowledge of engineering techniques and strict adherence to controlled manufacturing practices, we are able to produce high-performance busbars to use in switchgear, control panels, electric vehicle charging systems, power distribution panels, electrical cabinets, and industrial automation equipment. Our Quality Assurance department continually monitors manufacturing processes and inspections to minimize defects/variances from the standard and provide our customers with consistent products.

Testing Quality & Structure

1. Raw Material Quality

Copper/aluminum raw materials undergoes a quality inspection at various stages, from purity & electrical conductivity to thickness accuracy & structural integrity, before any production commences.

2. Dimensional Tolerance Testing

All busbars undergo dimensional tolerance testing to check for hole position accuracy, angle of bend, slot dimensions, and suitability of fit for installation.

3. Electricity Conductivity Testing

Each busbar will be tested to determine the electrical conductivity, electrical resistance, & current-carrying capacity in order to ensure that power can be delivered with maximum efficiency.

4. Surface FinishTesting

Busbars that are tin-plated or nickel-plated will undergo tests to determine the thickness of the coating, surface finish, corrosion resistance, & continuity of the electrical conductivity of the busbar.

5. Testing Mechanical Strength

The mechanical endurance, structural soundness, and deformity resistance properties will be tested to determine if they are capable of performing their functions properly over an extended period of time.

Insulation Process

6. Electrical Testing of Products

Insulating/ sleeved busbars will be tested to determine if they have adequate insulation integrity, dielectric strength, and safety compliance in order to provide safe and secure electrical service.

Quality Check

7. Precision CNC Quality Control

For busbars manufactured using CNC machining, there will be checks carried out to validate repeatability, punching accuracy, drilling accuracy, and consistency of production quality throughout.

Packaging & Delievery

8. Final Quality Inspection

At the time of dispatch, every individual finished busbar will have passed through a final inspection, packaging verifications, and received dispatch permission prior to shipment.

The engineering and quality control departments of our organization continually monitor the cutting, punching, delaying, drilling, plating, and finishing operations in order to maintain compliance with industrial specifications and process consistency throughout production.

Multi-Stage In-Process Testing System

Each busbar goes through multiple stages of inspection, which include dimensional verification, conductivity testing, and plating thickness inspection (plating works best when it has a uniform thickness). Also, there are tests performed to ensure the integrity of the bend angle and mechanical stability of the busbar; this will ensure that the busbars operate reliably during the lifetime of the busbars.

Testing of Electrical Conductivity and Performance of Busbars

Testing of busbars is done for current-carrying capability, low-resistance capability, voltage-stability capability, and the capability to deliver power with the lowest losses to support high-load electrical applications in a safe and effective manner.

CNC Precision Manufacturing Standards

CNC technology provides high levels of repeatability, exceptionally tight tolerances, precise placement of holes, smooth edge finishing, and uniformity in production for standard and custom busbars.

Checking for Finish and Corrosion Resistance

All tin-coated, nickel-plated, and sleeved busbars receive an inspection for surface roughness, coating thickness, oxidation resistance, and finished product quality in order to enhance their durability over time.
